For anyone who dares to replace their old Spinner Grind, I still have two or three of the custom Pino adapters for 1-1/8" steer tube forks like the MEKS Carbon left over. Answering my own question for the benefit of other readers. The Pino 2 Steel has:

[*] a head tube inside diameter of 44mm
[*] a 1" threaded headset with some of the toughest looking bearings I've ever seen

Did you find the answer? I'm also wondering if the Pino 2 Steel has a 1" or 1-1/8" threaded fork steer tube diameter.

It might be worth waiting for the 50mm travel MEKS / SASO Carbon AC to be tested by the Globecyclers. For a 250kg bicycle, coil spring+oil seems to me the only reliable technology.

Here's my bike computer setup, using an old bell mounting bracket and some zip ties.

My only advice is to wrap the bike computer wire around the plastic chain guard to keep it out of the way.
